Samsung Announces to New Interface ”One UI” for Android Devices

Samsung introduced a long-awaited thing for its users at Developer Event in San Francisco. The South Korean company showed its renewed Android interface at the event.

Introduced as the One UI, the new interface is defined as “more natural and more suitable for one-handed use”. The new interface lists interactive controls in the lower half of the screen. This way the options will more closer to your thumbs.

Samsung showed the new clock application as an example of this new layout. With new layout, the application showing to buttons on displays’ down part for switching alarms on and off . And, seeing on the top of the screen how much time we have left for the next alarm.

The One UI, also brings to system night mode to your phone. The “Focus Blocks” function means showing great and interactive icons to “see more with each touch”. This allows you to see little pictures in the gallery application as much larger Albums.

One UI beta based on Android 9, will be available in the US, Germany and Korea this month. The One UI will be officially released for all phones supported in January 2019.
